The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
man lands a high kick!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by man!
Good leg kick by man there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
man tries for a takedown but Gricie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
man darts in and clinches Gricie up against the cage.
man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gricie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gricie is working for takedown but man is calmly controlling the position for now.
Gricie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but man pulls him back up using the underhooks.
super man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gregor Gricie.
Gricie goes for a takedown in the clinch but man prevents it.
man lands a nice knee to the body.
Gricie looks gassed!
man pulls guard effortlessly.
man looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gricie on the ground.

Gricie tries to free his leg and advance position but man is retaining full guard.
man is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gricie wants to pass the guard but man is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

man tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gricie swivels and escapes.

man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gricie's waist but Gricie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing man off to one side.

man shoots in for a double leg but Gricie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
man tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gricie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
man fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gricie scores a takedown into full mount!
Gricie is working for a guillotine from mount but man frees his head quite easily.
man is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Gricie is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! man is forced to tap! Great finish!
