The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasady goes for a double leg but Dubois avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dubois continues to drive forward.
Kasady tries to score a body lock takedown but Dubois shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kasady has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dubois is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pierre Dubois has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cletus Kasady.
Dubois breaks from the clinch.
Dubois lands a big head kick that sends Kasady tumbling to the mat! Dubois takes a step backwards and waves Kasady back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kasady is rocked!
It looks like Cletus Kasady has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dubois cracks Kasady with a left hook right on the temple and Kasady goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Dubois lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Kasady is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pierre Dubois!
After winning the bout, Pierre Dubois thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
