Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saint Nick!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ross fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nick throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nick bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Rick Ross has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ross is defended easily by Nick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ross has a takedown stuffed.
Ross fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nick to the ground. Ross is now in Nick's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ross is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ross stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rick Ross just wasn't active enough.
Ross tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nick defends well and Ross ends up having to push Nick into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nick wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ross has him pressed against the cage.
Ross has Nick pressed against the cage, preventing Nick from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ross goes for a takedown attempt but Nick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ross on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ross is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nick lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Nick.
Ross is holding his hands too far apart here. Nick throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Ross is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Saint Nick!
Rick Ross was interviewed post fight and said 'Im a big nig and i dont take this crap.'.
