Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medved clinches with his opponent.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Medved as Jones tries to tie him up. Medved turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. A lull in the action here as Medved stalls from top position. Medved trying to control the position but Jones is working away. Medved is really struggling to control Jones but he's trying to hold on to the position. Medved is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well. Medved decides to stand back up. Medved steps back and let's Jones get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Jones does no damage. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Medved just misses with a punch to the body.
Medved shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones tries to clinch but Medved moves out of range. Medved looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Medved throws a head kick that misses. Medved looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jones tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is trying to maintain the position but Medved is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Medved not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Medved wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it. Medved is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Medved . Medved decides to return to a standing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Medved tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Medved paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones fails with the takedown. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Medved , looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Medved against the cage but Medved circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Medved throws a sloppy head kick and Jones counters with a head kick. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Alexander Medved has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. Medved clinches up against the cage. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Medved won't allow it.
Medved is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Medved has clasped his hands together around Jones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to escape the position but Medved is controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jones can't do much from the bottom here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones tries to buck Medved off but Medved is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Medved dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Medved tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones tries to clinch up but Medved circles away and keeps his distance. Medved closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jones looking for submissions off his back. Medved content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Medved sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though. Jones wants to control but Medved is keeping busy and won't allow it. Alexander Medved overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Medved content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alexander Medved . Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Medved . Medved moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Medved looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Medved jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Medved has him pressed against the cage. Medved managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.

Medved is trying to push Jones away but Jones has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Medved drags the fight down to the ground.
Medved is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Medved in particular looking to stall. Medved is trying for a kimura here. Jones looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Medved wins by kimura!
