Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Turshatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Canavan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turshatov comes into the arena with War And Peace blaring out of the sound system. Liam Canavan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turshatov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Canavan on his heels. He'll look to pass Canavan's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Canavan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Turshatov controls the pace.
Turshatov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Canavan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turshatov is controlling him.

Turshatov has hold of Canavan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Canavan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Turshatov cranks the arm and Canavan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Canavan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Alexey Turshatov!
