The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sargent clinches.
Hofferman lands a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hofferman advances to half guard.
Sargent tries to kick Hofferman off but Hofferman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Still in half guard, Hofferman seems content to control.
Sargent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hofferman on the ground.
Sargent is staying active underneath Hofferman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Sargent is in trouble now - Hofferman has advanced to mount!
