Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Olivier Levasseur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olivier Levasseur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash throws a nice looking combination but Levasseur bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ash jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Ash is looking to clinch but Levasseur is avoiding it.
Ash throws a hook but Levasseur avoids it easily.

Ash has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Levasseur is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Levasseur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ash's waist but Ash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Levasseur off to one side.

Ash turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ash manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've been hearing good reports from Levasseur's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Levasseur tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Levasseur has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ash pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Levasseur back to the cage. Ash follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Ash tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Adam Ash seems to be getting the better of the standup.

That's time! Levasseur's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ash enables Levasseur to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Levasseur connects with a nice short shot to Ash's temple.
