Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiruku Matah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Fontaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matah comes to the cage accompanied by Walker the Texas Ranger Theme. Fontaine has chosen P.S. Phuk You Too as his entrance music. Hiruku Matah has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hiruku Matah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Fontaine! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Matah closes the distance and clinches up with Fontaine, looking for a takedown. Matah pushes Fontaine against the cage but Fontaine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Matah tries for a takedown but Fontaine circles away easily letting Fontaine counter with a right hand. Matah has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Matah has his takedown stuffed and Matah takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hiruku Matah. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Matah or perhaps it was just good defense by Fontaine, which made it look bad. Matah misses with a takedown and Fontaine counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matah tries for a takedown but Fontaine circles away easily and Fontaine counters with a three punch combo that has Matah backing up. Matah nods at Fontaine to acknowledge the strikes. Matah fails with the takedown and Fontaine counters with a two punch combo. Matah shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fontaine as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matah shoots and misses and Fontaine counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Matah badly! He tries to strike back but Fontaine puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Matah out cold! Oh man, Matah will never hear the end of this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ricky Fontaine! An intense looking Ricky Fontaine took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'WATCH ME GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!'. Hiruku Matah was interviewed post fight and said 'Bah!'.
