Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angus Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Burn it Down by Five Finger Death Punch. Angus Khan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Angus Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Woods! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods doesn't manage to clinch there - Khan circles away.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Woods. Khan fails to land with a series of punches.
Khan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Khan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Woods stopping the sweep attempt from Khan. Woods pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Khan is keeping the position for now. Khan scores with a short punch from the bottom. Woods working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Khan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Woods postures up.
Woods wants to pass the guard but Khan is keeping the position. Woods drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Khan dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan throwing strikes from guard but Woods blocks nicely. Woods throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Woods escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Woods looks gassed! Woods keeping moving, preventing Khan from controlling successfully. Woods can't keep his opponent in guard - Khan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Khan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khan connects with a nice short shot to Woods's temple. Ground and pound from Khan. Khan scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Woods has managed to free his arm - good work. Woods is in trouble now - Khan has advanced to mount! Woods working to try and regain half guard.
Woods takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Khan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Woods is looking to escape. Khan dominating with strikes here. Khan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Woods is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods tries to hold on but Khan pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan lands a big shot there that rocks Woods but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Khan looking to finish Woods with some ground and pound. This is bad for Woods!
Woods is rocked! Khan is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Woods goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Khan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Angus Khan!
