The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dove takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dove is looking to control Cannon's arms but Cannon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dove has his back to the cage.
Dove jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cannon walks away with a smile on his face. Dove gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dove has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cannon on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cannon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dove smiles and moves away.
Dove gets a clinch.
Cannon wants the takedown. Dove is fighting it off but Cannon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dove's guard against the cage.
Dove really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cannon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cannon stands up and waves to Dove to follow him.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dove can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cannon controls the pace.
Dove is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cannon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Javier Dove is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cannon drops back looking for a leg! Dove is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dove manages to kick Cannon off! Cannon jumps back into Dove's guard.
Nicolas Cannon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cannon gets to his feet - Dove follows without any prompting.
