Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sioux Sie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Tuesday's Gone as his entrance music. Sioux Sie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sioux Sie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy James! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James throws a right and a left that both miss. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts James, as that shot connected.
Sie missing with a left hand there. James was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. James throws a lazy right hand but Sie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A swing and a miss from Sie. Sie cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
An inside leg kick from Sie misses. Sie moves out of range as James strikes. James tries to clinch but Sie is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though. James fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sie. Tommy James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James tries a head kick but it misses.
Sie seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Sloppy strikes from Sie. Those never looked like landing. A leg kick checked by Sie. Sie misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sie lands a lovely overhand right. James pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sie back to the cage. James follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A left lands for Sie. James tries to clinch there but Sie circles away.
James lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sie's sensitive parts. Sloppy strikes from Sie. Those never looked like landing. Sie slips a straight right by James. James clinches up against the cage. James working aggressively here.
James lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for James. Sie jumps guard but James turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. James lands a left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sie is trying to pull guard but James turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. James misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sie blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sioux Sie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables James to keep the fight standing. James tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. James lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sie backwards. James trying to stall but Sie improves his position.
James is looking for a takedown. Sie decides to pull guard. James lands a couple of elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sie keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. Sie is striking from the bottom but James uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Sie regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James won't allow Sie to sweep him here. Sie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! James has picked Sie up and slammed him! Sie can't keep hold of the triangle and James manages to pass to side control! James working the head and body with strikes. Sie takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. James in side control lands a decent elbow. Sie is not in a great position here, taking some shots. James trying to control the position but Sie is working away. Sie taking punishment in the form of punches.
James scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sie to see if he's OK. James trying to control the position but Sie is working away. Sie is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James landing strikes. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Sie prevents James from improving position. James wants to control but Sie is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy James dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sie keeps the fight on the outside. James is looking to clinch but Sie is avoiding it.

The fighters circling - Sie throws out the jab but it was never going to land. James tries to clinch but Sie is having none of it. James keeps the fight on the outside. James shoots in for a takedown but Sie shows good takedown defense. Sie throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James tries to work over Sie's front leg with a kick but Sie checks it. Tommy James seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sie looks for a takedown but James sprawls well. James closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - James lands in his opponent's guard. James throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw James working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

James wants to control from the top but Sie keeps moving. James controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sie is controlling James's posture. Sie looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sie closes the distance and pushes James back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sie pulls guard successfully.
James trying to control the position from guard on top but Sie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sie lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. James can't keep his opponent in guard - Sie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sie is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sie won't allow James to sweep him here. James trying to keep a closed guard but Sie is proving a slippery customer.
Sie content to stall in guard here. Sie trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because James is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. James is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. James keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. James working over Sie with some ground and pound. Sie looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sie throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sie punching from the bottom.
Sie tries to roll over but James keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Tommy James will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
James rushes Sie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. James throws a punch but it's blocked by Sie. Sie scores with a shot to the side of James's head. Sie looking to stall.
