Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlton Oneill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Turgeon! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turgeon scores with a takedown into Oneill's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Turgeon throws a strike but Oneill rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Turgeon is looking to stand up but Oneill isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oneill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Turgeon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oneill has managed to get both his arms back between Turgeon's legs - danger averted. Turgeon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Oneill escapes and throws Turgeon's legs to the side, diving into side control! Oneill is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turgeon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Oneill really is a fat lump.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneill is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Turgeon has escaped the position, nice work there. Oneill is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Turgeon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Oneill looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Turgeon bucks up and tries to throw Oneill off but instead Oneill has got his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turgeon is keeping busy.
Turgeon looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Oneill is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Oneill is not going to allow Turgeon to sit and survive in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oneill is persistently looking for the submission but Turgeon is defending it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oneill avoiding Turgeon 's attempts to control his hands. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turgeon is trying to get back to his feet but Oneill has full control of the position and if anything, Turgeon has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlton Oneill dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Turgeon has managed to clinch.

Oneill tries to stand but Turgeon is controlling from the bottom. Turgeon has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Oneill has passed into side control.
Turgeon is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Oneill's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Oneill! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Turgeon has tapped! This one is allllll over!
