Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jovon Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chambers comes to the cage accompanied by Carmen Gray-Gates of Loneliness. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jovon Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Jones! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Chambers blocks the leg kick.
Chambers ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Chambers doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a right hand to the body. Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chambers checks a leg kick. Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Chambers. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones swings for the body but Chambers moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jones misses the shot to the body. Chambers tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Chambers ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Chambers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jovon Chambers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones presses Chambers against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Jones throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Chambers is breathing heavily. Chambers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones digs a right hand into Chambers's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Chambers's gas tank. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Jones. Jones tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chambers's elbow. Jones throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chamberss head. Chambers tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.

Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Jones.
Chambers blocks a body shot from Jones. A short right hand to the side of the head by Jones. Jones lands a hook that snaps the head of Chambers backwards. Chambers goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
Chambers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Chambers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jones attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chambers. Chambers on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chambers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jack Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

It looks like Jovon Chambers has been cut. Chambers slips under a jab from Jones. Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Chambers, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jones lands a slapping body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chambers checks a leg kick. Chambers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones controlling Chambers's posture.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Chambers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Chambers persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. An inside leg kick lands from Jones. Jones misses with a hook. An inside leg kick from Jones misses. Chambers checks the leg kick. Chambers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chambers gets slowly back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Chambers shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Chambers was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Chambers tries to advance to mount but Jones denies him. Jones is trying to control Chambers's posture but Chambers avoids it. Chambers swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chambers's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chambers wants to sweep but no luck. Chambers has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though. Jones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones won't allow Chambers to sweep him here. Jones looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones stays in close to Chambers's body and controls the position. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Chambers is retaining full guard. Chambers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Chambers seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones wants to stand but Chambers has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Chambers wants to hit a switch here but Jones passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Chambers there! Chambers is trying desperately to improve position. Jones looking to control but Chambers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Chambers is working to get back to half guard.

Chambers wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. A bit of a pause in the action here. Jones controlling the positon. Chambers trying to control the hands but Jones won't let him. Jones has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Chambers's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chambers is in bad spot here.

Chambers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. Chambers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chambers avoids the head kick by Jones.

Chambers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Chambers shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chambers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. An inside leg kick lands from Jones. Jones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Chambers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chambers's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.

Chambers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones controlling Chambers's posture. Chambers tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Jones has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Chambers has passed into side control.

Chambers trying to control but he's not successful this time. Chambers wants to take Jones's back here but Jones is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Chambers is working hard here to advance position. Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Chambers has a good base and remains in mount.

Chambers trying to control but Jones is having none of it. Chambers goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Chambers's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones looks to land a body kick but Chambers moved away. Chambers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chambers avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jack Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chambers. Jovon Chambers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chambers tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch. A short right from Jones on the inside. Jones lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jones throws a head punch that misses.

Jones lands a left hand that snaps the head of Chambers backwards. Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Chambers misses with the head strike.
Jones lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chambers backwards. Jack Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones is pressed up against the cage. Chambers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Chambers or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones, which made it look bad. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Chambers walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jones. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chambers avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones throws a quick inside leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jack Jones wins by unanimous decision! Jack Jones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
