Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Foles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Foles counters by clinching up.
Dixon blocks a body shot from Foles.
Foles tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Foles goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dixon blocks the elbow strike.
Foles tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Dixon jumps guard but Foles stands there with Dixon around his waist. Dixon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Foles lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Adam Dixon has been cut.
Foles scores a nice knee to the body.
Dixon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Foles comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Foles misses with a hook from the clinch.

Foles lands an elbow that stopped Dixon in his tracks for a moment.
Foles tries a body shot but Dixon blocks it.

Foles struggles to land a body shot inside as Dixon controls his hands.
Dixon blocks a body shot from Foles.
Foles lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Foles pushes Dixon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Foles creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dixon's defenses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Foles pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Dixon dodges an elbow strike from Foles.
Foles lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Dixon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dixon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Foles tries to stand but Dixon is controlling from the bottom.

Foles gets to his feet - Dixon follows without any prompting.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Foles. Dixon shrugs it off though.
Foles moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dixon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Foles sprawls well. Foles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet.
Nick Foles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Dixon.
Dixon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Foles swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Dixon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dixon.
Foles is looking to stand up but Dixon isn't so interested in that idea.

Foles manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Dixon shoots for a double leg takedown but Foles sprawls well. He's pushed Dixon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Adam Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut there from Foles.
Foles scores with a nice head shot.
Dixon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foles but Foles pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Foles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Foles.
Dixon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Foles circles away.

Foles thows a left - swing and a miss!
Foles fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dixon shoots for a takedown but Foles saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dixon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dixon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Foles defends well and Dixon ends up having to push Foles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dixon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Foles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dixon is working for takedown but Foles is calmly controlling the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dixon.
Dixon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Foles looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Foles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Foles wants it to stay on the feet.
Dixon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nick Foles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Dixon.

Foles cracks Dixon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Foles has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dixon to stand back up!


Dixon is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick by Foles - that's a beauty! Dixon is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Foles can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
