Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Shao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Pacquio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shao comes to the cage accompanied by Jimmy Dean's Big Bad John. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Aaron Pacquio enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shao throws a hook but Pacquio blocks it.
Shao throws a right hand that Pacquio ducks under and follows up with a left that Pacquio also avoids with ease.
Pacquio checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Shao shoots in and drives through. Pacquio sprawls well.
Shao tries to bum rush Pacquio with a series of wild strikes but Pacquio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pacquio throws a body kick that misses.
Shao uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shao.
Shao misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Shao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shao looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shao has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pacquio.
Shao is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pacquio fakes the leg kick and cracks Shao in the body.
Pacquio tries to bum rush Shao with a series of wild strikes but Shao uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shao. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

and Pacquio counters with a good, hard body kick but Shao shrugs it off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pacquio lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Shao can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Pacquio and Shao drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Pacquio.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Pacquio!
