Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emelianenko looking to score a takedown here. Ayers is defending well but Emelianenko drives through and ends up in Ayers's guard.

Ayers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Emelianenko is fighting to break Ayers's control of his arms but Ayers is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Emelianenko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ayers is proving hard to escape from.

Well Emelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
