The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia shoots and misses
and Potts decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Huia's guard.
Potts would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potts throwing strikes from guard but Huia blocks nicely.
Huia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Potts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Huia is tightening it up a little... Potts has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Potts reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Potts taps out! Nice BJJ there by Huia!
