Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogdan Stancu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fisher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stancu tries to bench press Fisher off him but Fisher keeps the position.
Stancu wants to control but Fisher postures up.

Fisher decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stancu to his feet.
Stancu misses with a takedown attempt
and Fisher counters with a nice body shot.
Stancu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fisher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stancu sprawls well initially but Fisher persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Stancu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fisher wants to stand but Stancu has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Stancu is pressing down on Fisher's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Fisher decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stancu to his feet.
Fisher could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stancu rushes Fisher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fisher is trying to push Stancu away but Stancu has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
The referee calls for Fisher to work.
Stancu has Fisher pressed against the cage, preventing Fisher from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Stancu tries for a takedown but Fisher manages to get underhooks.
Toby Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bogdan Stancu.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stancu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fisher fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Stancu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Fisher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fisher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Stancu shoots in looking for a takedown. Fisher tries to sprawl out of it but Stancu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fisher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stancu is breathing heavily.

Stancu manages to pull guard.

Stancu looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fisher has picked Stancu up and slammed him! Stancu can't keep hold of the triangle and Fisher manages to pass to side control!
Stancu pushes Fisher away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fisher gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fisher stands up.

Stancu pulls guard successfully.
Fisher tries to stand but Stancu is controlling from the bottom.
Stancu wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Fisher manages to pass to side control.

Fisher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fisher wants to stand but Stancu has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Stancu clinches with his opponent.

Stancu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stancu shoots in looking for a takedown. Fisher tries to sprawl out of it but Stancu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fisher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stancu throws a head kick but Fisher moves out of range.

Stancu shoots in for a takedown but Fisher shows good takedown defense.
Bogdan Stancu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stancu keeps Fisher at a distance using the push kick.
Stancu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stancu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fisher shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stancu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fisher wanted to stand there but Stancu had control of the position.
Stancu looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fisher puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Fisher seems to be looking for submissions.

Fisher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stancu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fisher.
Stancu wants to get back to full guard but Fisher has mounted him!

Fisher won't let Stancu get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Fisher stands up from mount. Strange move.
Fisher doesn't manage to clinch there - Stancu circles away.

Stancu clinches up with Fisher and pushes him back against the cage.

Fisher dodges an elbow strike from Stancu.
Fisher tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Stancu drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stancu looking to slow down the pace here.
Fisher will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Stancu up against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Toby Fisher.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fisher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
