Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Lott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Monty Lott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Weidman! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weidman drives through with a takedown into Lott's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Weidman won't allow Lott to get back to his feet. Lott could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Weidman throws a big right hand that misses. Weidman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Weidman trying to control but Lott is working from the bottom. Lott pulls Weidman in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weidman wants to control from the top but Lott keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Weidman was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Weidman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Weidman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weidman stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Weidman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lott looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Weidman connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lott some visible discomfort.
Weidman stands up and beckons Lott to his feet. Weidman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lott's guard.
Lott is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Weidman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Oh Lott is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Weidman is pushing down on Lott's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lott is fighting to maintain full guard but Weidman has managed to sneak the leg through. Weidman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lott is breathing heavily. Weidman postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lott to stand up. Lott seems to have got his legs back now. Weidman closes the distance looking for a takedown. Lott stuffs it but Weidman still has hold of him. Weidman picks Lott up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Weidman slams Lott to the floor and that's really hurt Lott - he doesn't know where he is! Weidman throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Weidman!
