Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Major Lazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Showtime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lazer comes to the cage accompanied by Major Lazer - Pon De Floor. Showtime has chosen Old Toms Hut as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Showtime misses with a double jab.

Showtime tries to keep at a distance but Lazer has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lazer misses with a punch to the body.
Showtime has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lazer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lazer is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Showtime is defending well.
Showtime stops a takedown attempt from Lazer.
Showtime wants to break free but Lazer has control.

Lazer has Showtime pressed against the cage, preventing Showtime from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Showtime wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lazer has him pressed against the cage.

Lazer is working for takedown but Showtime is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Major Lazer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Showtime prevents the takedown attempt.
Lazer tries for a takedown. No joy.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lazer.
Showtime wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Lazer has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Showtime regains guard immediately.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lazer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lazer loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Showtime scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lazer land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lazer stands and salutes the crowd.
