Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant comes to the cage accompanied by United States of America's National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ulysses Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Poulter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Grant blocks a head kick by Poulter.

A bone on bone clash there as Grant blocks the leg kick.
Grant turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Poulter moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Grant darts in and clinches Poulter up against the cage. Poulter swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Poulter fails to land. Grant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Grant throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Poulter.
It looks like Paul Poulter has been cut. Poulter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Grant. Grant fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Poulter avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Grant just misses with a punch to the body.
Poulter misses with a kick to the body and Grant counters with a slapping leg kick. Poulter thows a leg kick but Grant checks it and Grant counters with a left to the body. Grant dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Poulter lands with a kick to the temple. Grant shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Poulter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Grant. Grant tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poulter was well out of range. Poor timing from Grant. Grant throws a hook but Poulter avoids it easily. Grant lands a right hook to the body.
Poulter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Grant throws a leg kick but Poulter checks it. Grant ducks under a wild hook from Poulter. Poulter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Grant's head backwards. Grant fails in his attempt to clinch. Grant doesn't manage to clinch there - Poulter circles away.
Poulter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Poulter throws a body kick that misses. Grant connects with a solid leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grant tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Poulter throws a body punch but Grant moves out of range. Grant throws a poor cross that misses
and Poulter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Grant thinking. Grant throws a head kick that half lands.
Grant pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Grant throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Grant walks forward, straight into a front kick from Poulter. Poulter throws a sloppy head kick and Grant cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Grant fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Grant moves into range and clinches up with Poulter. Poulter blocks a body shot from Grant. Poulter throws a punch but it's blocked by Grant. Grant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Poulter moves away from the strike by Grant. Grant misses with a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Grant misses. Grant swings for the body but Poulter moves out of range.
Grant misses with a wild body shot. A nice combination there by Grant.
Grant cracks Poulter with an open hand slap.
Poulter is rocked! Grant shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Poulter takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Grant sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Poulter bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ulysses Grant! A very excited looking Ulysses Grant made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
