Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Shebanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Island King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shebanov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Don't worry, be happy. Roman Shebanov had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Shebanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Island King!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shebanov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent King stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shebanov digs a good body shot into King's ribs.
King takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
King on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like The Island King has been cut.
King has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from King there as he acknowledges the shot.
King avoids the body shot from Shebanov.
Shebanov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
King takes a shot to the head.
King's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Shebanov breaks the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shebanov misses with a few strikes there.
Shebanov wants to clinch but King slips to the side
and King counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Shebanov!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Shebanov is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Elite MMA Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Shebanov is looking to work his way out of this bad position but King is controlling him well.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
King throws an elbow but Shebanov slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shebanov can't do much from the bottom here.
King goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Shebanov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for King but great work by Shebanov.
King tries to escape but Shebanov is in control.
Shebanov trying to control the position but King is working away.
Shebanov is staying tight to King's torso, preventing him from escaping.

King is looking for a sweep.
King seems a little lost for a moment, as Shebanov dominates the positioning.

Shebanov wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
King manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Shebanov decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
King avoids the body shot from Shebanov.
Shebanov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That has opened up The Island King's cut even more.
Roman Shebanov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King.
King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shebanov.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shebanov dips to his left and cracks King with an uppercut!
Shebanov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.
Shebanov clinches with his opponent.
King is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Shebanov is defending well.
Shebanov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shebanov tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shebanov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shebanov circles away.
Roman Shebanov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Island King.
No joy there for Shebanov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shebanov is looking to wear down King with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Shebanov misses with a hook.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shebanov, as that shot connected.
The cut above The Island King's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Shebanov throws a lazy uppercut
and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shebanov's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Shebanov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Shebanov wants to get back to his feet but King is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
King wants to pass the guard but Shebanov is keeping the position.
Shebanov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.
King advances position into side control!
King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Shebanov dominated that round.
The cut man is working on The Island King's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Shebanov lands a nice shot that snaps King's head back.
Shebanov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
King takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shebanov cracks King with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The Island King's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Shebanov tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice defenses there by King.
Shebanov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shebanov throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
Shebanov misses with an uppercut. King saw that one coming.
King circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shebanov tries to clinch but King is having none of it.
Shebanov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.
Shebanov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at The Island King's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Roman Shebanov!
