Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Myles Sheppard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivo Osis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myles Sheppard has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Myles Sheppard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivo Osis! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sheppard napping and manages to drive through into side control! Osis is looking to take a break and control but Sheppard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Osis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sheppard sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Sheppard parries the strikes from Osis easily there. Osis is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sheppard to escape.
Osis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sheppard rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Osis's guard! Nice work there by Sheppard! Sheppard stays in close to Osis's body and controls the position. Sheppard stopping the sweep attempt from Osis. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Osis can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheppard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Osis is trying to control the position but Sheppard postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Osis moves into range and clinches up with Sheppard. Sheppard jumps into guard, dragging Osis to the mat.
Sheppard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Osis looking to sit in guard and control but Sheppard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Osis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sheppard defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheppard is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sheppard seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Osis for as long as he can get away with. Sheppard stands up from Osis's guard - Sheppard perhaps looking for a knockout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Osis throws a lazy head kick and Sheppard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osis drives through with a takedown into Sheppard's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Osis looks winded! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Osis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sheppard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Osis is one step ahead there. Osis looking to sit in guard and control but Sheppard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Osis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sheppard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sheppard stays in close to Osis's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sheppard stands up from guard. Let's bang! Osis throws a head kick that misses and Sheppard counters with a three punch combo that has Osis backing up. Osis nods at Sheppard to acknowledge the strikes. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sheppard successfully pulls guard.
Osis trying to control the position from guard on top but Sheppard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Osis preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Myles Sheppard will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Osis shoots in and gets a takedown into Sheppard's guard. Sheppard wants to sweep here but Osis controlling him for the moment. Sheppard keeping moving, preventing Osis from controlling successfully. Osis postures up in Sheppard's guard and throws a big left but Sheppard blocks it. Osis content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Sheppard has locked up a guillotine! Sheppard's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Osis is holding on here and Sheppard must be using up a lot of energy. Osis has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Sheppard gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
