Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artur Levchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Levchenko comes into the arena with Zelenoglazoe Taksi blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Matthews!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews is trying hard to land a takedown here. Levchenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Matthews has closed the distance and engaged Levchenko in a clinch.

Matthews ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Matthews no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Matthews has Levchenko pulled in close to control his posture.

Matthews looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Levchenko is standing up over Matthews. Matthews looks to escape but Levchenko dives into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Matthews shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Levchenko sprawls well. Levchenko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matthews gets slowly back to his feet.
Matthews closes the distance and clinches up with Levchenko, looking for a takedown. Matthews pushes Levchenko against the cage but Levchenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Artur Levchenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Matthews.
Matthews tries to clinch there but Levchenko circles away.
Max Matthews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Levchenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Matthews.

Levchenko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Levchenko wants to control from the top but Matthews keeps moving.

Levchenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Matthews has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Levchenko has managed to get both his arms back between Matthews's legs - danger averted.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Levchenko scores with a hook to the body. Matthews takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Levchenko dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Matthews tries for a takedown but Levchenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Matthews or perhaps it was just good defense by Levchenko, which made it look bad.
