Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dany Legorious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legorious slips a jab from Richardson.
Legorious closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Legorious lands in his opponent's guard.
Richardson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Legorious is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Richardson keeping moving, preventing Legorious from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Richardson has control of Legorious's left arm, preventing Legorious from doing any damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Richardson is staying active underneath Legorious, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Legorious is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Richardson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Legorious manages to avoid it.

Legorious throws his legs up looking for a submission but Richardson uses it to pass to side control.

The ground and pound from Richardson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Richardson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Legorious knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Richardson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Legorious keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Legorious is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Richardson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Richardson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Legorious has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Richardson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Legorious.
Legorious wants to control but Richardson postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close round but Kelly Richardson will probably get the nod.

A determined Dany Legorious didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
