Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hector Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baki Kakuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Fibzy - China. Hector Ramirez has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hector Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baki Kakuto! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kakuto slips a jab and a cross from Ramirez.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kakuto. Ramirez does a little dance to reset his feet. Sloppy strikes from Ramirez. Those never looked like landing. Ramirez tries to clinch there but Kakuto circles away.
Ramirez connects with a looping right hand.
Ramirez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kakuto swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ramirez swinging wildly here.
Kakuto has closed the distance and engaged Ramirez in a clinch.
Ramirez tries to pull guard but Kakuto forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Ramirez is trying to stall.
Kakuto wants the takedown. Ramirez is fighting it off but Kakuto persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ramirez's guard against the cage. Kakuto looking to sit in guard and control but Ramirez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ramirez wants to control from the top but Kakuto keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kakuto is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Ramirez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kakuto to keep the fight standing. Ramirez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ramirez tries for a takedown but Kakuto manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kakuto manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ramirez stopping the sweep attempt from Kakuto. Ramirez trying to control the position from guard on top but Kakuto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramirez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kakuto striking off his back but it's not causing Ramirez any problems. Kakuto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramirez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kakuto throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Kakuto has an active guard here but Ramirez has managed to pass into half guard.
Kakuto tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Ramirez has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Kakuto is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez misses with a head shot. Kakuto wants to control but Ramirez is having none of it. Ramirez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kakuto has worked his arm free - good work by Kakuto!

That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kakuto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kakuto tries to improve position but can't. Ramirez wants to stand but Kakuto is controlling his arm. Kakuto tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ramirez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ramirez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kakuto tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baki Kakuto dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Ramirez closes the distance but Kakuto moves to the side and Kakuto counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ramirez fails in his attempt to clinch. Kakuto throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ramirez was covering up waiting for the punch and Kakuto finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kakuto throws a strike but Ramirez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ramirez advances to half guard. Kakuto looking for submissions off his back. Kakuto wants to improve his position but Ramirez is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kakuto manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kakuto has hold of Ramirez's hands but Ramirez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kakuto trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Kakuto tries to reverse the position but Ramirez maintains control. Kakuto chipping away with body shots but they're not going to hurt Ramirez. Ramirez wants to finish this one by submission but Kakuto is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ramirez. Kakuto throwing hammer fists to the chest of Ramirez. What's that going to do exactly?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kakuto is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ramirez trying to control but Kakuto is having none of it. Ramirez manages to capitalize on a mistake by Kakuto to take his back! Ramirez is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kakuto defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Baki Kakuto has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez tries to keep control of the position but Kakuto is staying busy. Kakuto rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kakuto kicks off Ramirez and gets to his feet. Ramirez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ramirez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ramirez tries to close the distance and clinch but Kakuto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ramirez dives in and grabs Kakuto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kakuto pushes down on Ramirez's head and hops out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Baki Kakuto will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Kakuto shoots in and gets a takedown into Ramirez's guard. Ramirez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kakuto's guard. Ramirez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ramirez wanted to stand there but Kakuto had control of the position. Kakuto wants to stand up but Ramirez is controlling him. Kakuto trying to strike off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez trying to control but Kakuto is working from the bottom. Kakuto throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Kakuto looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ramirez has picked Kakuto up and slammed him! Kakuto can't keep hold of the triangle and Ramirez manages to pass to side control! Ramirez wants to control but Kakuto is keeping him busy. Kakuto can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kakuto manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ramirez has hold of Kakuto's hands but Kakuto slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kakuto looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ramirez wants to get back to his feet. Kakuto is looking to take a break and control but Ramirez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kakuto lands strikes from half guard. Kakuto decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ramirez shoots in for a takedown but Kakuto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramirez gets caught flat footed, as Kakuto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kakuto is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kakuto stands up from Ramirez's guard - Kakuto perhaps looking for a knockout. Kakuto throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramirez on the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kakuto rushes Ramirez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kakuto softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez has Kakuto pressed against the cage, preventing Kakuto from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ramirez wants a takedown.
Kakuto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ramirez uses from the top position. Kakuto looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kakuto pulls Ramirez in close to his closed guard and prevents Ramirez from doing any damage or advancing position. Ramirez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kakuto is keeping the position for now. Hector Ramirez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Baki Kakuto is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kakuto pulls Ramirez in close to his closed guard and prevents Ramirez from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that's the end of the fight! Baki Kakuto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kakuto winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Baki Kakuto! A very excited looking Baki Kakuto rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. The defeated Hector Ramirez had this to say: 'The moment I meet a worthy opponent, *PAF* I'm defeated.'.
