1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Podolski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dillon Schell! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Podolski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Schell fails in his attempt to clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Schell enables Podolski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Schell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Podolski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Podolski stands and throws Schell's legs to the side, diving into side control. Podolski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Schell managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Podolski.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Schell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Podolski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schell is fending him off so far but Podolski persists. Nope, Schell circles away and we're back to standing. Schell is looking to clinch but Podolski is avoiding it.

We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Podolski. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Podolski fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Schell throws out a powerful jab. Schell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Podolski is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Schell wants to stand up but Podolski manages to regain full guard. Podolski keeping moving, preventing Schell from controlling successfully. Podolski controls Schell momentarily but Schell frees himself. Podolski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Schell with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Podolski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Podolski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Podolski tries to get out of the position. Schell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Podolski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Schell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Podolski. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Podolski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Podolski looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Podolski moves out of range as Schell throws a body kick.

Podolski has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Schell after a bit of a struggle. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Podolski tries to pull guard but Schell holds him up against the cage and eventually Podolski drops back down to his feet.

Dillon Schell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

It looks like Andrew Podolski has been cut. Schell leaves Podolski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Schell fails in his attempt to clinch. A left lands for Schell.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Schell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Podolski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Schell throws a shot to the body.
Schell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Oh Podolski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schell lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Podolski can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Schell and Podolski drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Schell.
