Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Shade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobson comes into the arena with Onkel kånkel blaring out of the sound system. Shade is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Open Hapiness. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Bobson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyoto Shade! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bobson throws a head kick that misses. A slow jab from Bobson misses its intended target. Shade blocks a head kick by Bobson.
Shade throws a half hearted mid kick. Shade changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Shade clinches with his opponent.
Bobson can't break the clinch.
Shade manages to break the clinch.
Shade pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A left and a right from Shade both land. Nice combination. Bobson throws a lazy head kick and Shade counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bobson wants to get back to striking at distance but Shade won't allow it.

Bob Bobson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shade throws a sloppy head kick and Bobson moves out of range easily.

and Shade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bobson's guard. Shade stops Bobson from standing up. Shade advances to half guard. Bobson is looking to escape. Bobson is breathing heavily. Shade is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bobson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shade. Bobson is trying to stand up here but Shade is controlling him well. Shade is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shade thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bobson's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shade is working for a submission of some sort.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shade drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shade trying to control the position but Bobson is working away. Bobson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shade is controlling him well. Bobson is not content to let Shade control the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Shade tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shade has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bobson is pushing Shade's head away, looking to escape. Shade manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shade misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bobson tries to bum rush Shade with a series of wild strikes but Shade uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Shade in particular looking to stall. Shade throwing shots but Bobson is blocking nicely. Bobson has one foot on Shade's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Bobson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shade counters with a left and a right that stings Bobson. Bobson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Shade counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shade. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bobson has his feet on Shade's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Bobson swats away the attempt to clinch by Shade. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Shade dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bobson closes the distance but Shade moves to the side and Shade holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bobson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shade throws a sloppy head kick and Bobson moves out of range easily. Bobson tries to clinch but Shade moves away and Shade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bobson's guard. Bobson wants to get back to his feet but Shade is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bobson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. With the fighters up against the cage, Bobson throws an elbow but misses. Bobson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shade.
Shade is looking to break free of the clinch but Bobson has double underhooks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bobson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shade should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bobson avoids the head kick by Shade.
Shade stalks Bobson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bobson's face. Bobson staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bobson gets a clinch. Bobson can't get the takedown.
Shade fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bobson thows a left - swing and a miss! Bobson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shade throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bobson's waist but Bobson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shade off to one side. Bob Bobson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyoto Shade. Bobson darts in trying to clinch and Shade counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shade. Bobson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bobson shoots and misses and Shade moves into the clinch. Shade tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Shade closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Shade looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shade stands up and beckons Bobson to his feet. Bobson scores with a jab to the head.
Shade looks to clinch and Bobson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bobson fails to land the takedown. Bobson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Shade lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Shade. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Bobson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shade. Shade throws a head kick that misses. Shade plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Bobson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Shade gets the takedown into side control. Bobson wants to get back to his feet but Shade drags him back down. Shade is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bobson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bobson sneaks out the side door and pushes Shade away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Bobson looks to clinch and Shade counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bobson is lucky that one didn't land flush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bobson lands a two punch combo.
Shade has closed the distance and engaged Bobson in a clinch.
Shade tries to pull guard but Bobson holds him up against the cage and eventually Shade drops back down to his feet.
Bobson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shade wants to clinch. Bobson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bobson wants to stand up but Shade manages to regain full guard. Bobson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shade throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Lyoto Shade has got the better of the ground game so far. Bobson stands up from Shade's guard - Bobson perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Shade showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Shade circles away from the clinch attempt and Shade counters with a solid body kick. Bobson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

No joy there for Bobson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shade slips under a jab from Bobson. Bobson tries to clinch and Shade makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bobson really felt that one! Bobson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shade but Shade pushes him off and we're back to square one. Shade works over Bobson's head and body with a nice combination. Shade rushes Bobson and presses him up against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Shade pulls Bobson into guard.
Shade looking for a sweep. Not yet Shade, not yet. Bobson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bobson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Shade scores with a takedown into Bobson's guard. Shade sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bobson's guard. Bobson pushes Shade off and gets back to his feet. Bobson looks to land a combination but Shade avoids it well. Shade throws a head kick but Bobson moves out of range.

Shade moves into the clinch. Shade gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Shade trying to control but Bobson is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shade not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bobson wants to stand and escape but Shade is having none of it. Bobson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bobson throws a combination that misses and Shade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bobson's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bobson wants to stand but Shade is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bobson keeping moving, preventing Shade from controlling successfully. Bobson pushes Shade off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Shade dodges the punch combination from Bobson.
Shade tries for a takedown but Bobson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Shade shoots for a double leg takedown but Bobson sprawls well. He's pushed Shade's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bobson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bobson lands in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bobson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bobson scores with a nice strike. Bobson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Shade. Bobson shrugs it off though. Shade lands with a slapping head kick. Shade throws a head kick that misses. Bobson throws a series of punches but Shade moves out of range. Nice cross by Bobson. Shade shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shade was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bobson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Bob Bobson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shade looking to finish Bobson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bobson!
And that's the end of the fight! Lyoto Shade comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Shade has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
