Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Koltsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirill Koltsov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryan Gracie! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koltsov misses with a series of wild punches.
Koltsov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Koltsov gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Koltsov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Koltsov throws an elbow but Gracie slips to the side and avoids it well. Koltsov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working. Koltsov lands a few punches from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Check out the look on Koltsov's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Koltsov misses with a straight right. Koltsov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A punch combination from Koltsov misses. Koltsov closes the distance and clinches. Koltsov tries to throw a body punch but Gracie avoids it by throwing Koltsov back against the cage. Koltsov misses with some punches.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Koltsov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Gracie wants to improve his position but Koltsov is controlling well.

Koltsov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Koltsov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Koltsov throwing shots but missing, from side control. Koltsov working the head with strikes. Sloppy strikes there by Koltsov. Koltsov connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gracie some visible discomfort.
Gracie struggling a bit here. Gracie holds on to Koltsov's head and controls the position momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Koltsov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gracie to see if he's OK. Gracie struggling a bit here. Koltsov working the ground and pound from side control. Gracie takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gracie is looking to reverse the position. Koltsov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground. Gracie sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koltsov is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Koltsov is working away from the top position though. Koltsov thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Koltsov there. Kirill Koltsov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Koltsov slips a nice elbow through Gracie's hands, connecting with Gracie's forehead. Gracie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Koltsov is just content to waste time from the top position. Gracie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Gracie working for a triangle but Koltsov defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Koltsov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Koltsov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie being controlled here momentarily. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Koltsov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Koltsov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Koltsov won't be happy with that. Koltsov is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie takes a little break here. Koltsov wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Koltsov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around? Koltsov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koltsov manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gracie's best efforts. Koltsov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Koltsov tries to get out of the position. Gracie wants to take a breather but Koltsov is having none of it. Koltsov is trying to get back to full guard. Koltsov is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall. Gracie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Koltsov is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Gracie has taken his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie not allowing Koltsov to control his hands.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Koltsov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
