Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker lands a nice looking body kick.
Tyson closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Tyson pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tyson throws a low kick but Walker moves out of range easily.
Walker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Paul Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tyson is defended easily by Walker.

Tyson closes the distance and clinches.
Tyson is looking to break free of the clinch but Walker has double underhooks.
Tyson tries to pull guard but Walker holds him up against the cage and eventually Tyson drops back down to his feet.
Paul Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Tyson.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker lands with a kick to the ribs.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tyson has eaten all the pies!
Walker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tyson gets slowly back to his feet.

Walker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walker throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tyson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walker defends well and Tyson ends up having to push Walker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tyson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Walker.
Walker landing knees to the body.
Walker goes for a takedown attempt but Tyson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tyson slips a jab and a cross from Walker.

Walker pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Walker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tyson defends well.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Tyson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mike Tyson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Walker scores with a head kick. Tyson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Walker lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Tyson throws a solid leg kick but Walker takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tyson.

Tyson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Walker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Walker manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walker jumps guard and drags Tyson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Tyson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Tyson persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Walker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Walker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tyson is fending him off so far but Walker persists. Nope, Tyson circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyson dives in and grabs Walker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes down on Tyson's head and hops out.
Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyson's waist but Tyson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side.
Tyson swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tyson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.
Walker lunges at Tyson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tyson's hand.

Tyson dodges the punch combination from Walker.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tyson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Tyson persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Walker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Walker uses from the top position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
