Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tero Elo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melo Granite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tero Elo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melo Granite! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Granite throws a right hand that Elo ducks under and follows up with a left that Elo also avoids with ease. Elo looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Granite keeping full guard, as Elo tries to pass. Elo throws a strike but Granite rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Granite thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Elo wants to stand up but Granite is controlling him. Elo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Granite can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Granite preventing the sweep. Granite must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Granite slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Granite trying to control the position from guard on top but Elo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Elo is looking for a triangle here but Granite uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Granite throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Elo is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Granite advances nicely into full mount. Granite mounts Elo! Really nice guard pass there! Granite manages to capitalize on a mistake by Elo to take his back! Elo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Granite gets his way!
Granite is looking to control Elo but Elo is wriggling around and keeping busy. Granite doesn't have the hooks in and Elo manages to turn into his guard.
Elo is breathing heavily. Elo looking to pass the guard. Elo cracks Granite with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Granite looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Elo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Granite is keeping the position for now. Granite is looking for a triangle but Elo pushes his legs off easily.
Elois looking to pass into half guard but Granite pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Granite is in guard. Elo working a defensive guard but Granite manages to pass into side control anyway.
Granite wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Elo, who protects the arm well. Elo is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Elo struggling a bit here. Granite blocks the strikes from Elo.
Elo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Elo wants to take a breather but Granite is having none of it. Elo seems to be looking for submissions.
Elo is looking for a kimura but Granite is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Elo to get the leverage. Elo seems to be working for a kimura but Granite defends the submission attempt. Elo trying to mount his opponent but Granite defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melo Granite dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Granite gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Elo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Elo. Granite is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Elo wants to pass the guard but Granite is keeping the position. Elo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Granite is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Elo, into his guard. Elo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Granite is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Elo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Granite's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Granite preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Elo. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Granite manages to reverse the position and now he's in Elo's guard. Nice work there by Granite.
Granite landing some decent shots from guard. Granite stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Elo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Elo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Granite is looking to escape. Elo is looking to take Granite's back but instead Granite gets back to half guard. Nice work. Granite looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Elo is just content to waste time from the top position. Granite takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elo landing some decent shots from guard. Elo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Granite is proving hard to escape from. Elo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Granite dives on top into guard. Granite preventing the sweep. Elo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Granite throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Elo's body to avoid the submission. Elo has instead reached around Granite's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Elo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tero Elo!
