The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sinatra paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sinatra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sinatra shoots for a takedown but Hodge saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hodge tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sinatra manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Sinatra counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hodge is breathing heavily.
Sinatra is looking to stand up but Hodge won't let him.
Sinatra controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hodge not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frank Sinatra wasn't active enough on the ground.
Sinatra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hodge as he jumps to the side.

Sinatra not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Sinatra drops back looking for a leg! Hodge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hodge manages to kick Sinatra off! Sinatra jumps back into Hodge's guard.
Sinatra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hodge swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sinatra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sinatra passes Hodge's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sinatra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hodge keeps working.
Sinatra is taking a breather. Hodge says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Sinatra dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hodge tries for a takedown but Sinatra circles away easily
and Sinatra counters with a shoot takedown. Hodge fights it but they end up in guard.
Sinatra is looking to stand up but Hodge won't let him.
Sinatra stays in close to Hodge's body and controls the position.
Sinatra passes Hodge's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sinatra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hodge is just riding it out for now. Sinatra eventually gives up the hold.
Sinatra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sinatra missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Sinatra is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hodge defends it well.
Hodge keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hodge wants to get back to full guard but Sinatra has mounted him!
Sinatra sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Sinatra is working for a guillotine from mount but Hodge frees his head quite easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sinatra throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hodge has his hands clasped together but Sinatra breaks the hold and Hodge is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sinatra !
