Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neck is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the jungle. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neck will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Neck tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Mauricio Silva will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Neck is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Neck.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Neck feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neck wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mauricio Silva.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
