Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cortez Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen Fat Lip as his entrance music. Cortez Coleman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ceasar Morgan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cortez Coleman !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ceasar Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan feints and as Coleman raises his hands in defense, Morgan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Morgan wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving.
Morgan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Coleman seems keen to control Morgan's posture.
Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morgan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Coleman looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Morgan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Morgan uses his free foot to push down on Coleman 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Coleman .

Morgan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coleman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Morgan wants to control the pace but Coleman is squirming around nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Morgan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Coleman quickly recovers to half guard.

Well Morgan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
