Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koji Kanegi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Travis Freeman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Travis Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Koji Kanegi! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freeman slips a jab and a cross from Kanegi.
Freeman misses with a body kick. Freeman misses with a head kick.
Kanegi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kanegi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Freeman. Freeman moves out of range of the strikes. Freeman connects with an inside leg kick. Freeman thumps Kanegi with a low kick. Freeman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Freeman throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Kanegi ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kanegi tries to bum rush Freeman with a series of wild strikes but Freeman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Freeman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kanegi misses with a few strikes there.
Freeman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kanegi throws a body punch but Freeman moves out of range. Freeman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kanegi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Freeman counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kanegi is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kanegi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Freeman.
Travis Freeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kanegi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Freeman lands a big head kick that sends Kanegi tumbling to the mat! Freeman takes a step backwards and waves Kanegi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kanegi is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Freeman engages and cracks Kanegi with a massive lead left hook - Kanegi tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Freeman is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Travis Freeman! A relieved looking Travis Freeman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Koji Kanegi stepped up to the mic, saying 'Team Goroshi - Kore Fight Nutrition - Stark Slugger Society - Last Man Standing'.
