Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trent Baxendine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igual Kikongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent Baxendine had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kikongo connects with a high kick.
Baxendine shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Baxendine was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kikongo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baxendine looks up at the clock and then as Kikongo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Baxendine smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Baxendine decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Igual Kikongo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baxendine shoots in and gets a takedown into Kikongo's guard.

Kikongo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baxendine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A very excited looking Trent Baxendine rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
