Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chad prevost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). chad prevost looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark MacLeod! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, chad prevost! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacLeod misses with a two punch combination.
MacLeod misses with a double jab.
MacLeod gets a takedown into half guard. prevost really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacLeod. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. MacLeod tries to pass to full mount but prevost defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacLeod is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
prevost is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. MacLeod looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacLeod is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. MacLeod controlling the pace. MacLeod is looking to advance position but prevost won't allow it. MacLeod slows the pace down in half guard. MacLeod is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and prevost defends it well. prevost looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if MacLeod is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. MacLeod wants to pass the guard but prevost is defending well. MacLeod is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and prevost defends it well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with MacLeod in particular looking to stall. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee stands the fighters back up. Mark MacLeod just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. prevost tries to clinch there but MacLeod circles away.
prevost forces MacLeod back against the cage and clinches. MacLeod dodges an elbow strike from prevost.
prevost misses with a punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark MacLeod dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

MacLeod keeps the fight on the outside. MacLeod tries a head kick but it misses.
prevost is looking to clinch but MacLeod is avoiding it.
MacLeod has a takedown stuffed. MacLeod swats away the attempt to clinch by prevost. prevost tries to close the distance and clinch but MacLeod swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. MacLeod misses with a body kick. MacLeod keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacLeod misses with an uppercut. prevost is looking to clinch but MacLeod is avoiding it.

prevost is breathing heavily. prevost takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like chad prevost has been cut. Mark MacLeod is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. prevost tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MacLeod paws at him with a jab and circles away. MacLeod looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacLeod passes the guard and advances to mount! MacLeod controlling the position easily from mount. MacLeod's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. MacLeod is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but prevost is surviving well by controlling MacLeod's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacLeod looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. MacLeod controlling from the full mount. MacLeod working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. prevost turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips MacLeod off and cradles prevost's limp body as MacLeod celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Mark MacLeod!
