Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyrian Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuneyt Arkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arkin has chosen Tarkan - Şımarık as his entrance music. Cyrian Black looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a straight right.
Black throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Arkin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Arkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Arkin lands a couple of elbows.
Arkin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Arkin connects with a couple of short punches.
Black throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Arkin lands a couple of digs.
Arkin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Arkin drops back looking for a leg! Black is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Black manages to kick Arkin off! Arkin jumps back into Black's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Arkin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.

Arkin winds up and cracks Black with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Arkin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Black flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Black is looking to control Arkin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Black avoid being mounted?
Black wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Arkin avoids the body shot from Black.
Arkin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Black's sensitive parts.
Cyrian Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Black throws a right hand that Arkin ducks under and follows up with a left that Arkin also avoids with ease.

Cyrian Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black throws a hook to the side of Arkin's head but Arkin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Black has momentary wrist control but Arkin slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Black takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Arkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Arkin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Black takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Arkin lands a nice forearm strike.
Arkin looks up at the clock and then as Black takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Arkin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Black throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Arkin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Arkin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Black is looking for a sweep.
Arkin in side control lands a decent elbow.
Arkin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Black gets back to half guard.
Arkin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Arkin working over Black with some ground and pound. Black looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Arkin not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Cuneyt Arkin dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Arkin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Arkin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Black with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Arkin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Black!

Arkin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Black can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Arkin has isolated one of Black's arms. Black looking to fight him off but Arkin twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
