Kingston has chosen Basshunter- DotA as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenshin Yamamoto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karukef Kingston!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston misses with a double jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kingston.
Kingston misses with a wild combination.
Kingston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Yamamoto counters with a shoot takedown. Kingston fights it but they end up in guard.
Yamamoto stands up over Kingston, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kingston wants to get back to his feet but Yamamoto is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Yamamoto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yamamoto with a nice head shot there.
Yamamoto pushing down on Kingston's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kingston can do anything to dispel that myth.
Yamamoto drops an elbow to the side of Kingston's head.
Yamamoto throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kingston trying to get back to full guard but Yamamoto takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Yamamoto scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kingston?

It looks like Karukef Kingston has been cut.

Yamamoto is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Yamamoto extends the arm and Kingston is forced to tap!
