Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Aleksewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Valencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pawel Aleksewicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Valencia! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valencia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aleksewicz, pushing him back against the cage. Valencia slows down the pace here.
Aleksewicz is trying to trip Valencia. He has hold of a leg but Valencia is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Aleksewicz persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Valencia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Valencia can do anything to dispel that myth. Valencia is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Aleksewicz slips nicely into half guard. Valencia wants to control but Aleksewicz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Valencia tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Aleksewicz has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Valencia reaches up to try and control the position but Aleksewicz seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Valencia rolls and tries to escape and now Aleksewicz has his back!

Aleksewicz connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Valencia to escape the position.
Aleksewicz not allowing Valencia to control his hands. Aleksewicz has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Valencia has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aleksewicz looking for the choke but no joy. Valencia is really stuck here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aleksewicz tries to get the hooks in deep but Valencia pushed the leg off. Aleksewicz has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Valencia's body.
Valencia trying to control but not successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. I really don't envy Valencia right now.
Valencia is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Aleksewicz off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Aleksewicz controlling from the back. Valencia is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valencia is trying to stand back up. Aleksewicz wants to control but Valencia is keeping busy. Valencia has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Valencia fending off the submission attempt from Aleksewicz. Valencia prevents Aleksewicz from getting a body triangle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aleksewicz looking to break Valencia's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Valencia remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Aleksewicz will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Valencia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Aleksewicz. Valencia swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Valencia throws a right and a left that Aleksewicz avoids nicely. Valencia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Aleksewicz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Valencia defends well. Valencia must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Aleksewicz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Valencia has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aleksewicz is proving hard to escape from. Aleksewicz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Aleksewicz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Valencia controlling from the top position. Aleksewicz wants to sweep here but Valencia controlling him for the moment.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Victor Valencia hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. No luck for Aleksewicz with that takedown attempt. Aleksewicz fails in his attempt to clinch. Valencia shoots in for a takedown but Aleksewicz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aleksewicz tries to bum rush Valencia with a series of wild strikes but Valencia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Aleksewicz is looking to clinch but Valencia is avoiding it.
Pawel Aleksewicz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Valencia gets tackled into the cage by Aleksewicz. Aleksewicz maintains the clinch. Valencia has Aleksewicz pushed against the cage. Aleksewicz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Aleksewicz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Valencia! Valencia wants to control but Aleksewicz postures up. Valencia is looking for a sweep. Valencia manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Valencia controlling the action here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Valencia throwing shots but Aleksewicz is blocking nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Valencia in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Valencia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Aleksewicz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Valencia changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aleksewicz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Valencia is looking to take a break and control but Aleksewicz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Valencia swings around for an armbar but Aleksewicz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Valencia's guard. Valencia wants to sweep here but Aleksewicz controlling him for the moment. Valencia controlling the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Aleksewicz trying to control but Valencia is working from the bottom. Aleksewicz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Victor Valencia has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Aleksewicz moves into the clinch. Valencia gets control of Aleksewicz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Valencia will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Valencia trying to strike off his back.
Aleksewicz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Valencia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aleksewicz has Valencia in his guard. Valencia stops Aleksewicz from standing up. Valencia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aleksewicz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aleksewicz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Valencia avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Valencia has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Aleksewicz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! This has been an exciting period of action! Aleksewicz turns into Valencia and is now in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aleksewicz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valencia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aleksewicz has managed to get both his arms back between Valencia's legs - danger averted. Valencia trying to keep a closed guard but Aleksewicz is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Valencia trying to control the position from guard on top but Aleksewicz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Aleksewicz working for a triangle but Valencia defends it easily.
Aleksewicz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Valencia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
