Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Julius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caesar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: How do you gauge Caesar?. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Purple Haze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gaius Julius Caesar! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Caesar catches Haze right on the button with a cross. Caesar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haze did well to prevent Caesar getting side control. Caesar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caesar slows the pace down in half guard. Caesar wants to stand up but Haze has a hold of him and won't allow it. Caesar keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Haze is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Caesar pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haze avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Caesar. Caesar missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caesar tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Caesar prevents Haze from improving his position. Caesar stands up and beckons Haze to join him on the feet. Haze shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Caesar sprawls well. Caesar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Haze gets slowly back to his feet. Caesar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Caesar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Caesar wants to stand up but Haze is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caesar is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Haze reverses the position - he's now on top in Caesar's guard. Haze trying to control but Caesar is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caesar looking for a sweep. Not yet Caesar, not yet. Caesar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Haze pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Caesar is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caesar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Haze manages to get himself to full guard.
Caesar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Haze is proving hard to escape from. Caesar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Caesar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Let's hope that Caesar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Haze is trying to keep Caesar in close.
Haze looking for a triangle here. Caesar is fighting it but it looks tight! Haze pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Caesar is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Purple Haze! Gaius Julius Caesar spoke after the fight, saying 'I have lived long enough to satisfy both nature and glory.
