Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Temitope Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suarez has chosen Skindred - Rat Race as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Temitope Obama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Suarez! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suarez throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Suarez on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Obama fails to land with a series of punches.
Obama swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown attempt by Suarez or perhaps it was just good defense by Obama, which made it look bad. Obama pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Suarez back to the cage. Obama follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Suarez connects with a solid leg kick. Suarez dives in for a single leg takedown but Obama sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Obama holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Suarez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Temitope Obama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Suarez. A nice left hand lands by Obama.

We're back to striking at a distance. Obama moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Suarez throws a jab when Obama was well out of range. Suarez gets the takedown into side control. Obama manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Obama seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Obama tries a head kick but it misses.
Suarez dives in and scores a takedown into Obama's guard. Suarez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Suarez won't allow Obama to sweep him here. Obama is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Suarez defends well. Suarez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Suarez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Suarez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Suarez looking to pass the guard. Suarez trying to control the position from guard on top but Obama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Obama takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Obama cracks Suarez with a right hand to the side of the head. Obama keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Suarez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Suarez on the wrong end of a nice jab. Suarez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Obama lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Good shot there by Obama. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Suarez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Obama pinned against the cage. Obama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Temitope Obama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Suarez. Obama misses the shot to the body. Suarez misses with a two punch combination.

Obama tries to bum rush Suarez with a series of wild strikes but Suarez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Temitope Obama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Obama fails to land with a series of punches.
Suarez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Suarez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Obama scores with a jab. A left and a right from Suarez both land. Nice combination. Temitope Obama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Obama lands a head kick!
Obama is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice straight punches there by Obama. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Obama. Obama shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Suarez eats them both and turns towards Obama to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Suarez slips a jab and a cross from Obama.
Suarez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Suarez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Obama defends well and Suarez ends up having to push Obama into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Obama stops a takedown attempt from Suarez.
Suarez is breathing heavily. Suarez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Obama pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obama lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Obama. Obama looks to score with a jab to the body but Suarez is just out of range. Obama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Obama lands a glancing blow to the side of Suarez's head. Suarez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Obama is looking to improve his position.
Obama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Suarez is working away from the top position though. Suarez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Suarez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Antonio Suarez has got the better of the ground game so far. Obama wants to get up but he can't break Suarez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Antonio Suarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Obama changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Temitope Obama is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Suarez shoots for a double leg takedown but Obama sprawls well. He's pushed Suarez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Obama scores with a head kick. Suarez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Obama cracks Suarez with a right hand to the side of the head. Suarez misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Suarez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. That kick from Obama tenderised Suarez's leg. Suarez is trying to keep his angry face on. A combination from Obama does no damage. Obama avoids a punch combination nicely.
Suarez throws a right and a left that both miss. Suarez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Suarez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Obama. Suarez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Good exchange - Obama coming out on top. Suarez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Obama counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Suarez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Obama jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Temitope Obama showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Obama, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
