Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian McDunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ellert Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDunn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lost In Forever-P.O.D.. Roberts is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Micheal Jackson Bad. Ellert Roberts acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian McDunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellert Roberts! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDunn tries to clinch and Roberts counters with a two punch combo. McDunn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Roberts moves out of range of the body kick. Roberts checks the leg kick. McDunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roberts paws at him with a jab and circles away. Roberts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts blocks a head kick by McDunn.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDunn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. McDunn is trying to work for a kimura but Roberts is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roberts keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. McDunn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. McDunn working the head and body with strikes. McDunn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. McDunn moves nicely into side control. McDunn connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Roberts some visible discomfort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts is looking to regain half guard here but McDunn keeps moving and retains side control. Roberts bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! McDunn clinches up with Roberts and pushes him back against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McDunn misses with a knee to the head. McDunn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Roberts fights it off and pushes away nicely.

McDunn goes for a double leg but Roberts avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Roberts continues to drive forward.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McDunn dives in and grabs Roberts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roberts pushes down on McDunn's head and hops out. McDunn throws a series of punches but Roberts moves out of range. A solid body kick from McDunn. Roberts on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. McDunn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roberts swivels and escapes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McDunn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Roberts counters with a leg kick. McDunn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Robertss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ellert Roberts will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Roberts counters with an outside leg kick.

McDunn is working Roberts over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. McDunn works over Roberts with some ground and pound from guard. McDunn won't allow Roberts to get back to his feet. Roberts working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McDunn. Roberts keeping moving, preventing McDunn from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McDunn scores with a nice strike. McDunn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Roberts under the eye. McDunn tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Roberts defends well and McDunn ends up having to push Roberts into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Roberts managing to block the knees to the body from McDunn.
The referee is keeping an eye on McDunn - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roberts has had enough of the clinch but McDunn keeps him there for the moment. Roberts wants to get back to striking at distance but McDunn won't allow it.

McDunn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Roberts wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! McDunn cracks Roberts with an elbow. That is naaassty. Roberts takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Roberts tries to buck McDunn off but McDunn is having none of it. Roberts taking a bit of punishment here - McDunn scoring with strikes. Roberts wants to get back to his feet. McDunn in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 5, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian McDunn! Ian McDunn decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. Ellert Roberts spoke after the fight, saying 'GOD BLESS!! MAYBE NEXT TIME!!'.
