Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tito Larue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel Torres is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Angel Torres!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Torres or perhaps it was just good defense by Larue which made him look bad.
Torres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Larue looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Larue is looking to regain half guard here but Torres keeps moving and retains side control.
Torres advances to full mount.
Larue on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Larue tries to get out of the position.
Larue is working to get back to half guard.
Larue wants to control but Torres is having none of it.
Larue could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Torres looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Larue tries to lock up and control but Torres gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Torres looking for a guillotine from mount but Larue is having none of it.
Torres is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Larue can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Larue bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Larue content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Larue is looking to stand up but Torres won't let him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Larue looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Torres regains full guard. Nicely done.
Larue would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Torres working for a triangle but Larue defends it easily.
Larue drops back, looking for a kneebar! Torres looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Torres looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Torres!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torres is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Larue knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Larue is trying to control Torres's posture but Torres avoids it.
Torres tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Torres has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Larue is looking for a sweep.
Larue tries to control but Torres manages to take his back.
Larue tries to escape but Torres has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Torres working for a choke but Larue is defending well.

I really don't envy Larue right now.
Larue might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Larue breaks Torres's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Larue is looking to work some ground and pound but Torres has wrist control.
Larue drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Torres dives on top into guard.
Larue has an active guard here but Torres has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Larue is looking for a sweep. Torres is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Angel Torres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Torres misses with a takedown attempt
and Larue decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Torres's guard.
Larue lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Torres controls Larue momentarily but Larue frees himself.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Larue has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Torres to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Larue is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Torres pulls down on the head and he's put Larue to sleep! This one is all over!
