Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Temple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas blocks a head kick by Temple.
Lucas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lucas avoids the head kick by Temple.
Lucas is looking to chop away at Temple's legs.
Temple pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Temple throws a head kick that misses.
Lucas blocks a head kick by Temple.
Nice body kick there by Temple.

Lucas misses with a leg kick
and Temple finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Temple on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lucas. Lucas obviously looking to wear him down.
Lucas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Temple has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lucas cracks Temple with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lucas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Temple is able to avoid easily.

Temple slips under a jab from Lucas.
Lucas blocks a head kick by Temple.
A punch combination from Lucas misses.
Lucas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Temple is out of range and Lucas settles back down.
Lucas takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Temple looks for the body kick but Lucas saw that one coming.

and Lucas counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lucas with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lucas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lucas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lucas stays in close to Temple's body and controls the position.
Lucas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Temple is trying to keep Lucas in close.

Lucas is in close to Temple's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lucas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Temple is bucking up trying to escape but Lucas cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Lucas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Temple's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lucas is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Temple can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lucas cracks Temple with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Temple is still in real trouble! Can Lucas finish him?

Lucas is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Temple goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Lucas!
