Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gracij Nezmah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Brennan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gracij Nezmah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Brennan! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Nezmah - just one landing.
It looks like Brad Brennan has been cut. Nezmah connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Brennan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nezmah cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brennan misses with a takedown attempt - Nezmah sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nezmah lands with an uppercut that bounces Brennan off the cage and back into range. Brennan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nezmah finds it's way round the side to connect with Brennan's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brennan dodges the punch combination from Nezmah.
Nezmah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brennan wants to clinch up but Nezmah keeps it at a distance. Nezmah is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brennan's half guard. Nezmah controlling the action here. Brennan wants to improve his position but Nezmah is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nezmah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brennan punching from the bottom.
Nezmah blocks the strikes from Brennan.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nezmah keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brennan can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gracij Nezmah wasn't doing enough on the ground. Nezmah bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brennan's head backwards. Nezmah lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Brennan looks to clinch and Nezmah counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brennan! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brennan wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Brennan prevents Nezmah from moving into mount. Nezmah decides to stand up, so the ref orders Brennan to his feet. Brennan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brennan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brennan throws a hook to the side of Nezmah's head but Nezmah sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nezmah lands with a cross. Brennan is looking to clinch. Nezmah gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nezmah is stalling here.
Nezmah prevents Brennan from breaking the clinch. Nezmah pulls guard. Nezmah is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Brennan misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Brennan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nezmah in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brennan missing with punches from the bottom.
Nezmah tries to pass to full mount but Brennan defends it. Nezmah is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brennan! Brennan swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Brennan is trying to escape the mount.
Nezmah controlling the position easily from mount. Nezmah won't let Brennan get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Nezmah controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nezmah's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Gracij Nezmah just wasn't active enough. Brennan closes the distance and clinches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nezmah breaks from the clinch.
Nezmah is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Nezmah has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gracij Nezmah dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brad Brennan's cut. That's time! Nezmah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brennan misses with a double jab
and Nezmah counters with a straight right hand. Nezmah avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nezmah closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nezmah will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brennan is letting Nezmah control him for a moment. Nezmah stands up and we're back to a striking position. Nezmah lands a jab to the nose. Brennan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gracij Nezmah is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nezmah defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brennan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Nezmah as he connects with a hook. Brennan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nezmah paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice defenses there by Brennan. Nezmah swats away the attempt to clinch by Brennan. Brennan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nezmah as he avoids it easily. Nezmah paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That has opened up Brad Brennan's cut even more. Brennan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Nezmah to counter with a crisp jab. Brennan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nezmah. Brennan moves to clinch but Nezmah breaks away and Nezmah counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nezmah lands with a cross. Nezmah is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. This has been an exciting period of action! The fight stays on the outside here - Brennan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nezmah connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Brennan momentarily.
Nezmah lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The cut above Brad Brennan's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Brennan throws a hook but Nezmah avoids it easily. Brennan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Nezmah counters with a takedown into side control. Nezmah decides to take the fight back to the feet. Nezmah drives through with a takedown into Brennan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Nezmah decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brennan, up you get! Nezmah drives through and clinches with Brennan against the cage.
Nezmah has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Brennan regains guard immediately. Nezmah slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brennan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nezmah manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brennan is fighting to break Nezmah's control of his arms but Nezmah is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Gracij Nezmah has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Nezmah defending well as Brennan loads up on a big left hand. Brennan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nezmah scores with a jab to the head.
Brennan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nezmah listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brennan fails with a takedown attempt. Gracij Nezmah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Brennan. Brennan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nezmah bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brennan's head. Brennan throws a jab but it's blocked by Nezmah. Nezmah lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gracij Nezmah dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Brad Brennan's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Brennan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nezmah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brennan can do to turn this around? Brennan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Brennan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nezmah paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nezmah throws a right hand that Brennan ducks under and follows up with a left that Brennan also avoids with ease. Nezmah keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nezmah throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brennan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nezmah is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Brennan tries to clinch but Nezmah moves out of range. Nezmah throws a combination. Brennan tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brennan tries to close the distance and clinch but Nezmah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brennan tries to move into range but Nezmah moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brad Brennan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Brennan has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Brennan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nezmah closes the distance and pushes Brennan back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brennan tries to work over Nezmah's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Brennan being controlled against the cage. Brennan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nezmah to keep the fight standing. Nezmah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nezmah shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brennan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Nezmah stands up and waves to Brennan to follow him. Brennan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Nezmah counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brennan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nezmah's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brennan under the eye. Brennan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brad Brennan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gracij Nezmah!
