Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clemens Schnur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Ford.
Schnur shoots in for a double leg but Ford sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ford cracks Schnur with a right hand to the side of the head.
Schnur throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Schnur staying out of range there.
Ford catches Schnur with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Schnur shoots in looking for a takedown but Ford manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schnur's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Schnur shoots for a double leg takedown but Ford sprawls well. He's pushed Schnur's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clemens Schnur. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ford escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ford throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Schnur fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ford lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schnur circles away quickly and effectively.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Albert Ford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ford fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Schnur, pushing him back against the cage.

Ford jumps guard and drags Schnur to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ford lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Ford tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ford wants to improve his position but instead Schnur has moved into half guard.
Ford is trying to stand back up but Schnur is controlling him

Ford has one foot on Schnur's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
No luck for Schnur with that takedown attempt.

Schnur is breathing heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ford has taken the fight to the clinch.

Schnur closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Ford scores with the left hand. Schnur knows he should have avoided that one.
Ford lands a jab to Schnur's midsection.
Schnur takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Schnur walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ford keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ford wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ford lands with a big left! Schnur is wobbled badly! Ford comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Schnur to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
