Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilfredo Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stretch McGurckin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wilfredo Estrada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stretch McGurckin!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGurckin darts in and clinches Estrada up against the cage.
McGurckin has Estrada pressed against the cage.
McGurckin continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Estrada working aggressively here.
Estrada effectively controlling the action here.
Estrada drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
McGurckin gets through Estrada's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

McGurckin is trying to pull guard but Estrada has him pressed against the cage.
Estrada really is a fat lump.

McGurckin breaks from the clinch.
Estrada stuffs the takedown.

McGurckin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Estrada sprawls well. Estrada wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGurckin gets slowly back to his feet.

McGurckin goes for a double leg but Estrada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Estrada continues to drive forward.

McGurckin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Estrada uses from the top position.

McGurckin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Estrada off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Stretch McGurckin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGurckin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

McGurckin forces Estrada back against the cage and clinches.
Estrada misses with a punch on the inside.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Estrada pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McGurckin shoots in for a double leg but Estrada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McGurckin looks to land a left hand but Estrada moved out of range nicely.

McGurckin rushes Estrada and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

McGurckin is looking to break free of the clinch but Estrada has double underhooks.
McGurckin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Estrada backwards.
Estrada fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McGurckin has Estrada pressed against the cage, preventing Estrada from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Estrada working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because McGurckin has passed into half guard!
Estrada is looking to control McGurckin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Estrada avoid being mounted?

Estrada is trying to stand.
McGurckin slows the pace down in half guard.
It looks like McGurckin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stretch McGurckin dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


McGurckin closes the distance and clinches up with Estrada, looking for a takedown. McGurckin pushes Estrada against the cage but Estrada circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

McGurckin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGurckin circles away from the clinch attempt.
McGurckin shoots in but no luck this time.
McGurckin tries for a takedown but Estrada circles away easily
and Estrada counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wilfredo Estrada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stretch McGurckin.
Estrada closes the distance but McGurckin moves to the side
and McGurckin counters with a big head kick but Estrada shrugs it off.

McGurckin keeps the fight on the outside.

McGurckin closes the distance and clinches.
Estrada is looking to control McGurckin's arms but McGurckin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Estrada has his back to the cage.

Estrada has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McGurckin uses from the top position.
McGurckin throws an elbow that misses. Estrada uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McGurckin's guard. Nice move by Estrada!
McGurckin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Estrada looking to sit in guard and control but McGurckin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

McGurckin stands up from Estrada's guard - McGurckin perhaps looking for a knockout.

McGurckin closes the distance and pushes Estrada back into the cage.
Estrada is trying to push McGurckin away but McGurckin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
McGurckin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Estrada pulls him back up using the underhooks.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McGurckin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McGurckin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Estrada counters with a right hand to the body.
McGurckin is breathing heavily.

McGurckin takes the fight into the clinch.
Estrada wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Estrada has had enough of the clinch but McGurckin keeps him there for the moment.
McGurckin prevents the takedown attempt.
McGurckin has Estrada pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Estrada manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Estrada wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for McGurckin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
McGurckin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Estrada up against the cage.

Stretch McGurckin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Estrada tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McGurckin defends well and Estrada ends up having to push McGurckin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
McGurckin drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
McGurckin digs a right hand into Estrada's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Estrada's gas tank.
McGurckin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Estrada after a bit of a struggle.

and Estrada makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

McGurckin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Estrada takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGurckin keeps control of Estrada as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McGurckin is looking for a takedown.
Estrada is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but McGurckin is defending well.
McGurckin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Estrada's efforts to push away.
Estrada tries to stall but McGurckin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Estrada seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but McGurckin is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Estrada tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stretch McGurckin seems to be getting the better of the standup.

McGurckin has closed the distance and engaged Estrada in a clinch.
McGurckin wants to stall.

Estrada drags the fight down to the ground.
Estrada keeping moving, preventing McGurckin from controlling successfully.
Wilfredo Estrada has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Stretch McGurckin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Estrada has his foot on McGurckin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGurckin works his way back into a safe position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stretch McGurckin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McGurckin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
