Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Manhove!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manhove tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snow swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Manhove displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snow throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Manhove makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Al Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Manhove avoids the head kick by Snow.
Snow is breathing heavily.
Snow misses with a lunging right hand
and Manhove counters with a series of strikes. Snow will be more careful next time no doubt.

Snow throws a lazy right hand but Manhove sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Snow cracks Manhove with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Snow looks to throw the jab but Manhove is out of range.
Manhove connects with a crisp jab.

A punch lands to the side of Snow 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Snow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Snow misses the target.

Manhove clinches.

Snow's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Manhove slips under a jab.
We've been told by Snow's head coaches at Nonprofit Vegas Elite $50 ($1000 value) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Snow tries for a takedown but Manhove circles away easily
and Manhove counters with a three punch combo that has Snow backing up. Snow nods at Manhove to acknowledge the strikes.


It looks like Al Snow has been cut.

Manhove gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Manhove misses with a hook from the clinch.
Snow avoiding damage as Manhove throws knees to the body.

Manhove breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Darren Manhove will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Al Snow's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Snow takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A telegraphed right hand from Snow misses the target.
Nice defenses there by Manhove.
Manhove fails with an attempt to clinch.
Snow takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Snow changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Manhove throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Snow throws a head kick but Manhove moves out of range.

Manhove darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Manhove prevents Snow from standing back up.
Manhove throwing shots but Snow is blocking nicely.

Manhove escapes and gets back to his feet.
Manhove scores with a crisp jab that stopped Snow in his tracks.
Snow misses with a straight left.
Snow misses with a lunging right hand
and Manhove counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Snow misses with a low kick.
Snow takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Manhove tries to clinch there but Snow circles away.
Snow looks to land a right hand but Manhove moved out of range.
Snow gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Manhove.
Darren Manhove is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snow slips a jab and a cross from Manhove.
Manhove scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


Snow is rocked!
Manhove changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Manhove tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Snow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Manhove has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Manhove throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Manhove connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Snow! He's out on his feet! Manhove rushes in and drops Snow with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
