The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett throws out a leg kick but Gary moves out of range and Bennett only half commits.
Bennett finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gary throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bennett sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bennett slips a jab and a cross from Gary.
Gary misses the shot to the body.
Bennett tries to bum rush Gary with a series of wild strikes but Gary uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bennett fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Gary checks it well.
A clash of legs there as Gary blocks the low kick.
Bennett does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bennett throws a front kick aimed at Gary's knee but Gary avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bennett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gary.
